Rory Shackleford is a real estate Acquisition Manager here at Diamond Equity Investments Atlanta Region. Rory was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. First generation of Jamaican-Nationalized parents. Rory served in the United States Army for 6 years, then graduated from Kutztown University with a major in Pre-Law and Minor in Communications. Rory and his wife Kaphlee have a 6 year old daughter (Rayna) a 3 year old boy (Ryson).
His interest in Real Estate started when his Grandmother asked him to call the bank that her mortgage was with because she felt they were taking advantage of her. Rory was able to negotiate a credit towards her mortgage as well as a more favorable payment arrangement via legal loophole. After that, he was hooked. Being friendly and comforting by nature, he felt that through Real Estate he’d be able to help many people.
